What is Sound Techxturas?
It is an experimental electronic musical project, created and performed entirely live by B-Liv (Producer and Mexican Artist of Electronic Music), and raises in its structure a tribute to the popular culture of Mexican history.
It is an auditory redefinition based on the sound testimony of voices muted by death in a new and current musical context that is alien to its past reality.
Auditory memories of people like Chavela Vargas, the poet Rosario Castellanos, Jaime Sabines, Octavio Paz or Agustín Lara, to name a few, are mixed with electronic rhythms and organic elements that together build a journey full of textures and sound amalgams.
Since its premiere on the main stage of the Day of the Dead parade in the Zocalo of Mexico City before more than 100,000 people, B-Liv has presented Sound Techxtures by the Spanish Embassy in Mexico, the French alliance and the French Embassy In Mexico, Day of the Dead in Charlotte, North Carolina uses, Miami Music Week in Windwood, Miami uses, former school of San Ildefonso and recently invited by the MAMBO, Museum of Modern Art of Bogotá, Colombia, to represent Mexico and present its live act within the framework of the Mambo Alive Festival.
